SECURE A LONG RUNWAY
Let's be real - even super glue isn't going to pull your stubble. Ensure your hair is the right length for optimal rippage.
SCRUBBA DUBBA
Exfoliate the skin to free up any pesky ingrown hairs. If you can do this repeatedly a couple of days before your intended rip - even better.
POWDER DOWN
Use rubbing alcohol to wipe the desired area and to remove your natural oils, then lightly powder the area with a body powder of your choice.
PEEL AND PLAY
Slowly peel the strip apart. Unlike other wax strips, NO WARMING NEEDED! Just peel. Each side can be used, or if you only need one side, the other can be folded for your next wax session.
WIPE IT UP
There will be residue since this is wax. Our body wax kit includes post-wax cleansing wipes to clean up and soothe your skin immediately after rippage. Use them to calm your skin and ensure you're ready to bare.
SIDE NOTE...SNIP THE STRIP
For those smaller areas (lips, underarms, brow, etc.) cut the strips to the appropriate size before pulling apart.
CLEAN SLATE
Your skin should be clean, dry and LOTION-FREE. This is key to getting the optimal stickiness-to-pulliness ratio.
TESTING 1-2
Always spot-test on a small area of skin, just to make sure your skin doesn't get upset. You may also chat with a dermatologist. Keep in mind that slight discomfort and redness after waxing is normal.
SMOOTH IT DOWN
Be sure to smooth in ONE DIRECTION ONLY with the hair - do not smooth back and forth - this will cause wax to stick to your skin with minimal hair removal. Once you smooth, pull the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth in a swift motion, away from your skin (rather than "up" - pulling as close as possible to your skin.
